Graham House Community Centre is the auspicing body for the The Cherbourg Healthy Pregnancies Project which has been funded through the Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drugs (ATODS) Branch of Queensland Health.
Aims of the Project
To facilitate consultation with organizations and government service providers that provide support, education and skills to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from the South Burnett region, but with a focus on Cherbourg, to identify, implement and evaluate appropriate evidence-based interventions to:

Reduce alcohol, tobacco and other drug use during pregnancy;

Increase the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women breastfeeding their babies; and
-
Increase birth weight for babies born to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in the South Burnett
