Cherbourg Healthy Pregnancies Project

 

Graham House Community Centre was established in 1989 to provide services to meet the needs of community members across the South Burnett region.

The Centre provides services in the areas of Family Support, Community Transport, Emergency Relief and is an agency for CentreLink.


The Centre has an elected volunteer Management Committee of local residents and the Centre’s administration is handled by a full-time Manager.

 

 

MISSION STATEMENT


Graham House provides a high quality inclusive service that responds to the needs of individuals with empathy and dignity.


Graham House provides holistic assistance and nurtures the strengths of individuals and the community to empower them to meet their own needs.

 
Graham House Community Centre aims to:


• To provide access to services and information to all members of the community on a basis of need, without distinction of any kind;


• To provide assistance to relieve poverty, distress, destitution, misfortune and helplessness in the most responsive and dignified manner possible, without distinction of any kind;


• To introduce, plan or implement any project which has as it’s primary objective, activities which relieve the symptoms of poverty, sickness, distress and helplessness and addresses the initiation of solutions;


• To seek funds to run programs and workshops to assist the growth and development of the community, in particular those groups within the community who are known to be disadvantaged.

Services offered by Graham House Community Centre are made possible and enhanced by the generosity and assistance of volunteers.
